School Policies

Code of Discipline
It is our belief that children flourish and thrive best when they are in a structured environment. In order to maximize each child's potential, it is imperative that they understand what is required and expected of them/  Please review the procedures with your child so that he or she will be aware of the requirements and consequences of breaking the rules.

Trips Policy
Should a child misbehave on a trip, his or her parents will be notified by letter and he or she will not be permitted to attend the next trip.  We believe that in order to mature into fine adults, students must learn to be responsible for their behavior. Also see School Shirts Policy.

Lunch Policy
School lunch service is mandatory for full day students.
BACK

Testing Policy
Children not previously enrolled at Shalom, wishing to enter Kindergarten, may require testing by a licensed psychologist, designated by the school at the parent's expense.   Please contact school for further information.
BACK

School Shirts
Each Student is required to own at least one School Sport Shirt to be worn on all excursions off school premises. Aside from school spirit that is generated by this policy, it also enhances safety issues while on school trips.  Please complete the enclosed purchase form and submit it with the proper check made out to Shalom PTO.
